Admissions 2026 Consultation

Having established the Instanter Learning Trust, of which The Bishop Wand Church of England School and St Mary’s Hampton Primary School are the two founding members, we are pleased to announce the commencement of this admissions consultation.

The proposed changes to the Admissions Policy for The Bishop Wand Church of England School are being consulted on based upon our desire to facilitate a seamless 4 to 19 educational pathway for families within our current catchment area. This pathway will be grounded in Church of England Christian principles, reflecting our commitment to nurturing faith, fostering academic excellence, and serving our local community.

We invite views on these proposed changes as we work together to support the educational journey of students and families within our Trust.

The consultation will run from Friday, 10^th January 2025 until 6.00 p.m. on Friday, 21^st February 2025.  Anyone wishing to submit their views should email admissions@bishopwand.surrey.sch.uk

Alternatively, responses can be made in writing and posted to Admissions, The Bishop Wand Church of England School, Layton's Lane, Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 6LT.  In any response, please include your full name, title, and contact details and reference the Admissions Policy Consultation.

After the closing date, responses will be collated and presented to the Local Governing Body of the School for decision making and ratification by Friday, 28^th February 2025 and published on our school website no later than Saturday, 15^th March 2025.
