Sixth Form celebrating students receiving outstanding A level and BTEC results
The Bishop Wand Sixth Form are celebrating following the return of examinations, with students receiving outstanding A level and BTEC results.
Congratulations and well done to all our students who sat the first formal examinations since 2019. Today, we are celebrating their achievements and an outstanding set of results across all our subjects.
Student individual results show the strength and breadth of our students’ talents, with A* and A grades in Photography, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, English Literature, Politics, Geography, History, and Maths.PE, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Tourism and RS with Distinctions in BTEC Sport and Performing Arts, as well as the successful completion of the Diploma in Sporting Excellence by a number of our ACE Academy students.
I am pleased that these results and the achievements of our students will allow students to access universities across the country as well as starting exciting Apprenticeship programs and for some entering the world of work. I wish all our students every success in the future following the completion of their Bishop Wand Journey, knowing they will always be part of our school Alumni.
These results culminate two years of demanding study in the most challenging of circumstances, and thanks must also go to all our staff who so capably supported students throughout this time.
