Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to The Bishop Wand Church of England School prospectus.

We are privileged that you are considering our School for your child. Our history and reputation for providing an exceptional educational experience has placed our School at the centre of the local community for over 50 years; 50 years of academic excellence, sporting success, worship and extra-curricular activities that have spanned the globe.

We are proud to have a long-standing relationship with the Church of England and the Office of the Bishop of London, from which the School took its name in 1969. In our recent 50th anniversary services our achievements were recognised and honoured by the current incumbent, Bishop Sarah Mullally, and our future was blessed.

We offer your child an excellent educational experience delivered in a Christian context, where values and faith are as important as academic and extra-curricular activities. Our students leave Bishop Wand not only with exceptional examination results but also the skills required to succeed in life beyond the school gates. We believe in traditional values and expect all members of our School community to be disciplined, hard-working and to treat each other with respect.

This year our prospectus, our website and our virtual Welcome Event will provide you with an understanding of the opportunities that students who select Bishop Wand will experience as part of their seven year journey.
