Congratulations to all our students on their 2024 GCSE Examination results!

We are excited to share the exceptional success of our students at Bishop Wand School in this year's GCSE exams. Their commitment and perseverance have led to truly remarkable results, showcasing the effort and determination they've poured into their studies. We couldn't be prouder of all they’ve achieved.

This year's key headline figures highlights their achievements, with an excellent Average Point Score of 53. Our students achieved 413 grades at level 7 or above, an incredible 26% of all grades. Furthermore, 80% of grades were above level 4. In English, 86% of our students attained a grade 4 or higher, with 80% reaching the same standard in Mathematics.

These results represent an improvement across all key areas compared to 2023’s results, which serve as a reference point for this year's successes.

The determination of our whole school community—staff, students, and parents—coupled with the unwavering support of our staff, has truly brought them to this milestone. Proverbs 16:3: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."

Bishop Wand is committed not only to academic success but also to the holistic development of every student. We, therefore, celebrate every grade achieved by every child and acknowledge that whatever the outcomes they have achieved today, it paves the way for the next stage of their academic journey—whether continuing in our Sixth Form, pursuing further education, or entering the world of work and apprenticeship schemes.
