Youth Speaks Competition 2024

On Thursday, 25th January three students represented our School at the Youth Speaks Competition 2024, arranged by Shepperton Aurora Rotary. The question was ‘whether euthanasia should be legal’ and Dougie, 8L (Chair), Sofia, 7Y (Proposer) and Merice, 7Y (Opposer) presented compelling, emotive and exceptionally mature speeches, to a large audience. They all handled the subject matter with respect and understanding.

They all did fantastically well and their achievement at the event speaks volumes about their collective intelligence, maturity and ambition. Well done to all of them!
